There is no real ‘choice’ in the idea of destiny: destiny is inevitable and therefore whatever happens has to happen and we don’t get a say in it.
The only real destiny is death. So who you are while living is irrelevant, and everything that happens along the way is just the product of the choices you make. You could become a hundred different things in your life, do everything, see everything, but those things are not destinies. In the end, it will result the same way: the breaking down of your body and the eventual ceasing of your heart to beat. Death is inevitable and always imminent.
